From the highest to the lowest of God’s creation we see planned fellowship. No one can succeed without the fellowship of someone. God has so ordained it that we need one another. The stars are all placed in order; the sun and the moon have their tabernacles; the solar system is a display of God’s wonderful arrangement.
When we come to the work of Jesus and His apostles, we observe that He chose twelve men, which He ordained to the ministry, not from the great church of the day, but by Himself, to obey Him and to do His work that the Father sent Him to accomplish. To carry out the “will of God on earth as it is in Heaven”.
He told his apostles, “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you, and lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the World.” Mt 28:20.
The apostles went everywhere teaching and preaching, forming believers into groups. God worked with them. Souls were saved, sick bodies healed, devils cast out, and many received the baptism in the Holy Spirit.
In as much as we have willingly put our hearts and souls together into one fellowship for God, let us work earnestly together for one great cause…. “SOULS FOR JESUS”.
